Samantha Gomez a month agoTONYA! 10/10 Tonya at Staples was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can truly tell she helps keep the whole store running smoothly. While I was there, she made sure an elderly customer got help carrying a large box out to his car, helped me properly prepare my package, and even taped it up for me because my nails were done. On top of all that, she was still answering customers’ questions and directing people to exactly where items were in the store all while juggling multiple things at once with such a positive attitude. Excellent customer service like hers is hard to find. Tonya went above and beyond, and Staples is lucky to have her!
Sabby E 5 months agoI went to this Staples today to do a quick Amazon return and had to bring my 1.5-year-old with me. Anyone with a toddler knows how difficult it can be to stand still anywhere, but this should have been a fast drop-off. When I arrived, a gentleman initially asked how he could help and directed me to the Amazon return counter. At that counter, there was one employee a lady who later said her name was Kristy who was joined by another employee shortly after which was an older gentleman & they were standing there with no customers around except me. I was the only person waiting with a package and clearly struggling to keep my toddler contained. Despite this, neither employee acknowledged me. They talked to each other, avoided eye contact, and did not offer help. The male employee walked away to organize shelves that were empty. The female employee decided to carry an Amazon box elsewhere instead of helping me. When she returned, another customer had walked up, so she immediately began checking them out — even though I had been standing there unacknowledged the entire time. At that point, I asked if someone was coming to help me. She told me to “give it a few minutes,” implying the other employee would help, but he continued organizing shelves while she kept checking out every new customer that arrived. I asked again who would be helping me pointing out that it’s not easy to wait very long in my current situation and explained that I had already been waiting. She said it was just the two of them and that she would help me eventually. I then asked why I had been ignored when no one else was there initially. She said it was because there was a line — which was simply not true when I first walked up. The employee who had initially directed me there popped up all of a sudden and said “Staples customers come first,” which made no sense. Staples has a partnership with Amazon, and I was a Staples customer. More importantly, there had been no one else waiting when I arrived. It also felt unnecessary and uncomfortable for him to jump in and “team up” instead of de-escalating or showing understanding. I was not rude or yelling at any point. I explained that the return takes seconds and that I was juggling a toddler, a package, and standing there without even being acknowledged. Instead of showing empathy, it felt like I was intentionally made to wait longer after speaking up — while they helped everyone else first. When the return was finally processed, it took exactly seconds, confirming my point. The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily cold, down to the tone used. I wasn’t asking for special treatment — just basic acknowledgment and empathy. Any parent understands how hard it is to wait with a toddler, especially after being ignored. This was disappointing not just from a customer service standpoint, but on a human level. Apparently, I wasn’t considered a customer at all though — and because of this experience, I definitely won’t be from this point on.
Roxi E. 3 months agoPlease review the camera on 3/31/26 regarding this experience. I visited this location on March 31, 2026, and left feeling extremely uncomfortable with how I was treated. While waiting my turn for printing services, another customer approached the counter after me. Both employees chose to help him first—even after he clearly stated, twice, that I had been there before him. Each time, the employees looked directly at me and still chose to assist him instead, without acknowledging me at all. I remained patient and said nothing, but the repeated decision to bypass me despite clear awareness of my place in line made me feel singled out and disrespected. Although my order was completed quickly once I was finally helped, the experience itself raised serious concerns for me about fairness and possible bias in how customers are treated at this location. My order was already completed and ready for me but the worker initially did not look only reviewing the system. After a couple minutes he reviewed items on the counter ready for pickup and mine was there. I thanked him, paid for my order and wished them both a good day. I strongly encourage management to review this situation and reinforce fair, respectful, and consistent customer service practices for all patrons.
Joel Fisher a month agoVery disappointed with my experience at the Staples copy center in North Dallas. There were several customers waiting while the copy center employee was clearly busy, so we simply asked another associate for help loading paper into a printer — a task that should have taken less than a minute and been handled with basic customer service. Instead, the associate visibly threw down the work he was doing, slowly walked over with an obvious attitude, loaded the paper without saying a single word, and then just walked away. No acknowledgment, no professionalism, and certainly no sense of customer care. I understand employees can be busy, but attitude and effort matter. The lack of motivation and basic courtesy from the staff made what should have been a simple interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable and frustrating.
Ashlee Henson 2 months agoAll five of these stars are for Michael in the printing department. While the department was behind on printing orders due to outside factors, Michael was kind, courteous, and transparent in relaying to us that he would do his best to expedite our order on time which he successfully did! I truly appreciate Michael’s patience and hard work for us and the other customers in line with us. Rockstar employee!! 10/10 job Michael.
