I’m extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer service I experienced at this OfficeMax location, specifically in the printing department. Earlier today, I came in with a laminating job that I needed completed the same day. I made that timeline very clear from the start. Tyler assured me that the job would be completed by 4 PM, which is why I agreed to move forward and paid for the service upfront. I even tipped Tyler as a gesture of appreciation for good customer service, expecting that my order would be handled responsibly. Unfortunately, I later received a call saying that the job cannot be completed until Monday. This is completely unacceptable. I came to the store early specifically to ensure the job would be done today, and now my schedule and plans have been disrupted because of a lack of follow-through. If I had known from the start that same-day service was not possible, I would have gone elsewhere. What makes this worse is that this seems to be part of a recurring issue at this location. Several recent reviews mention service and reliability problems, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but a pattern. OfficeMax is a national brand, and with that comes the expectation of professionalism, accountability, and dependable service. Paying for a service, being promised a same-day completion, and then having that promise broken is unacceptable and undermines trust in the brand. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me to address this situation. Please provide the appropriate corporate customer service or escalation contact so this matter can be resolved. I hope this feedback helps improve service at this location, as experiences like mine should not happen at any OfficeMax store.

I don’t usually leave reviews but wow they need to work on their customer service. today I came in to get two items and was patiently waiting while a worker was helping a customer. Then, a lady walked up after me and a cashier came and helped her and no one said a word or even looked at me to let me know they would get to me. To top it off the woman helping the other customer took him to the register I was waiting at and basically just assumed I would move. I don’t ever mind waiting but It’s really not that hard to let me know

EDIT: Went to the store 4 months later on 3/27/26 during a slow Friday afternoon, they still have not placed a sign on a stand to signify which register is for FedEx (even though I was told last time by the manager, Ashely, that they were working on that). It took me over 10 minutes to get a receipt, and I was first in line. One poor guy was doing the work of 3 people. It was not his problem, this is obviously a bare bones operation and they're bleeding their best workers dry. They will respond to comments and even email you back pretending to care about feedback, but there will be no actual change in this Office Depot, at least not in 4 months. Go literally anywhere else if you need to drop off a package and get a receipt in less than 10 minutes. I usually only leave reviews for places that impress me, but truly, I have to warn people to use any other FedEx drop off location but this one. One star reviews get ignored, but I don’t really believe they earned 2. Today on 11/7/25 I went to drop off an important FedEx delivery. It wasn’t very busy as it was a Friday and close to 2pm. I didn’t see any signage at the front for where the FedEx drop off was, and I had to get a receipt for work to show that I dropped it off. I waited in the check out line, as the other line with an employee was clearly marked as store pickup. The general manager, Ashley, was working on a computer behind the checkout. When it was my turn in line, the cashier directed me to a separate line that did not have a person working and went on to help the person behind me. I waited for bit, with everyone at their stations, and eventually, Ashley came over to assist. I expressed to her my frustration with the lack of signage (there was a sign on the front door, and the only other poster was laying on the table flat, so you can’t see it until you’re at the correct register), and I told her I found it frustrating that I just needed a receipt and I’m watching the people behind me get help. She was not assisting any other customers during this and was nearby the entire time. She told me they weren’t allowed to hang signage and that the FedEx sign would be set up on a stand later. She did not address my issue of not being a priority. She then proceeded to talk to her employee about an unrelated task before finally printing and giving me my receipt. What should’ve been a simple print job took too long, and my issue with not feeling like a priority was ignored. Don’t shop here, they are a business that earned their low Yelp reviews. They have a 2.5/5 on Yelp, which leads me to believe their Google reviews don’t accurately reflect the usual customer experience.

So frustrating. I was in a hurry to print name badges for a Christmas party and stopped in expecting a quick turnaround. Unfortunately, the associate assisting me worked painfully slowly, which only added to the stress. After the badges were printed, I went to grab badge holders and was absolutely shocked by the price — $107 for 25 badge holders?! That feels like pure price gouging. I would never have paid that if I hadn’t been in such a time crunch, but I had no real choice at that point. To make matters worse, the store itself was extremely cluttered and even seemed dirty, which didn’t inspire much confidence at all. Overall, a terrible experience. The only reason I gave this location **2 stars instead of 1** is because the associate did suggest slicing the badges instead of printing on badge paper, which did save a little money. Still, speed, pricing, and store condition were completely unacceptable.

What a joke of a company! They knowingly sell items for pickup when they’re not in stock and then don’t refund your money for 3-5 days. In this particular incident they sold me a backup power supply they didn’t have in stock then held onto my funds until it was too late. This was right before the major ice storm so the situation should have been handled differently by them. No alternatives were even researched. No attempt to get my money back. Do business elsewhere.
