I recently visited Staples to purchase a Ring camera for my home and was happy to find the last available one. However, my experience with customer service was disappointing. When I asked an employee for help, I was directed vaguely without much assistance. While I appreciate finding the product I needed, the lack of proper customer service made the shopping experience less pleasant. I hope this location improves its service in the future. For now, I will be exploring other options for a better shopping experience.

Today I went into Staples to return an Amazon package for my boss and had lots of boxes in my hand so when I walked in I thought that I would just ask the lady that was sitting at the counter (Her name was Julianne) where I should put the boxes and where I could return them because I wasn’t quite sure what they were and I couldn’t really see around the boxes because they were so heavy and big. I asked her where the returns were, and she immediately barked at me “look at the sign!” it caught me a little off guard so I tried looking around the boxes that I was holding to look for the sign and I couldn’t really see the sign so I just asked her again where I could just set them because I couldn’t see the sign and then she barked at me again “The sign is literally in front of Your face!” it caught me a little off guard, so I just kinda looked at her and looked around because I didn’t really know what to do so I ended up just setting them on the counter and explaining to her once I saw the sign that I didn’t know if it was an Amazon package or regular package and I needed to look at my phone and I must’ve said it in an annoyed voice because she immediately backed up and tried to be nice then started to go on a rant how annoying bosses are and how lazy my boss is even though I hadn’t even said anything mean and my boss is my best friend so I was happy to drop off this package, but overall, she definitely ruined my experience at the store and I will not be coming back.

I love the pricing on Dunkin Donuts 88 count coffee pods. They're cheaper than Costco. Also love the convenience of returning Amazon stuff here!

Went in to purchase an office chair I had already picked out in my head from a prior visit. The assistance I got was rude from the start. I simply asked to see if they had it in stock and was ready to purchase and was rudely met with “you will need to wait.” The person I spoke with, I’ve seen working there for a while. Immediately they complained they were only 1 of 2 people working, yet this person wasn’t helping any other customers. I get short staffed issues, but it was rude in how they talked. Complaining that they couldn’t get it for me and never asked coworkers for help. I even offered to help get the chair from the back room because I was ready,,, that was denied. The whole process was so rude I almost walked out of the store after the first interaction. Chair was in stock, I was ready to buy. Associate didn’t want to help and told me to come back days later…

The front desk lady that handles Amazon returns needs a new position in the store that gets her out of customer service. The other employees know this about her because they were all watching. She took my item and dumped it in the counter so violently that it literally made me laugh. I told her that its worth was about $500 and I would rather her not do that. She chilled out after that. Staples, get this lady some help and get her out of customer service. I’ll gladly pay to never step foot in this store again.
