Chelsea Newman 5 months agoThe print store is an absolute joke. I'm not sure who or why they have a policy in place that 100% of your interactions have to be online, but if the people at the print shop were able to or WOULD have a conversation with customers, I'm sure a lot of their problems would be solved. I went in on Saturday to order business cards. I asked if I could email a copy of the document and the person working there told me I needed to order online and they would have it ready for me by EOD. Okay. Came back Sunday morning and the order was not ready despite the person telling me they would be ready by EOD Saturday. I then returned on Monday and the order still was not ready. I had not been contacted, nobody notified me, I just stopped in because I needed my business cards. Apparently, there was something wrong with my file. Once again; no one contacted me to notify me of this. The person at the counter said I then had to RE-ORDER my business cards online and I couldn't just simply send them a copy of the file...while I am looking at her...having a conversation....about the file....so we could sort this out together. FINE, I reorder my business cards online and wait 2 more days for them to be printed just for the graphics to be crooked and the words are not centered! I know I didn't send the document crooked, no one called me, no one checked...at this point I'm just out the money for the business cards because there is no way I'm going to go through the process of ordering these online AGAIN when obviously the people at the print shop don't care enough to TRY, look at the files, or call and check before printing a 500 business card order. Absolutely ridiculous. Have a human touch.
Jay Neal 2 months agoI ordered business cards before noon and went to pick them up @ 4/16 @ 5:20pm. Copy and paste print lady was rude and cussing. The manager made excuses so I got a refund. Then the manager and the employees stood around talking stuff and it because they thought I left. Don’t shop here if you want good customer service.
Rebecca Fincher a year agoI would like to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I experienced. Typically, I do not order my business cards from Staples, but due to an important event scheduled for tomorrow, I decided to place a rush order for same-day pickup. After completing my online order, I was informed that the cards would be ready by 5:30 PM. Additionally, I ordered flyers for the event under the same rush service, which also indicated a 5:30 PM readiness. Upon arriving at Staples at 5:45 PM, I had a flyer saved on a flash drive that I needed to print. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use the self-service machine, it authorized my card for a $5 fee but failed to recognize my USB drive. Instead of troubleshooting the issue, I sought assistance from a staff member in the print shop, who informed me that he was unable to help. Consequently, I had to approach the front of the store for further assistance. The individual who assisted me was a manager named Mike. His response was quite unhelpful, as he simply stated, "I don’t know what to tell you." This left me feeling frustrated, especially since I couldn't print my flyer for the event the following day. I then moved to the print area to collect my two orders, which were supposed to be ready by 5:30 PM. While Mike retrieved my flyers, he then checked on my business cards and casually informed me that they hadn’t been printed. When I inquired why, he responded with indifference, saying he didn’t know. I reminded him that I had placed the order earlier in the day for 5:30 PM pickup and emphasized that I needed the cards by 9 AM for my event. His lack of concern was palpable as he suggested I return the next day to pick them up, this after I just mentioned to him that I needed them for my event the next day. Obviously, he didn’t care! Meanwhile, another couple was counting their business cards, expressing concern that they were short of the promised 1,000. Mike interrupted them, insisting they couldn’t count their cards in the store because it was closing and they needed to leave. I was absolutely shocked that he said that to them! Clearly, they couldn’t care less about helping the customers because they were anxious to close and were actually waiting at the door for us to leave! This experience exemplified the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. I strongly advise against using this location for any printing needs, as the staff clearly lacks commitment to customer satisfaction. I’ll never trust Staples with my printing ever again as this was a very important event for me and I now don’t have the documents that I needed
J Carder (Mr Manager) 10 months agoSo this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at Staples. I come in here to get some copies on card stock and the lady in the print shop tells me oh we don’t have colored card stock anymore . Which is odd because every other Staples I’ve gone to for the last 10 years carries this but either way I invest. I go back to where they sell, colored paper and card stock and sure as anything there’s colored card stock right there on the shelf. I take it up to the print shop area. Ask the lady if I can get copies on this card stock and if they can ship my order to me afterwards.. her answer was no I don’t think so. I mention that that I’ve done this repeatedly through Staples as they usually use UPS. Once again, she is of no help and does not want to work.. This is a perfect example of why companies are going out of business. They hire people with a quietly quitting, do as little as I possibly have to do mentality. This lady was unpleasant and I think a snail could move fast faster than her. I’ve seen Staples closing stores and this is a great example of why. Be advised don’t try to get any customer service at the print shop in this store on a Wednesday at two in the afternoon if you’re white.
A 5 months agoI was made to wait in line for nearly 10 minutes with only one person in front of me. The majority of my wait was at the register while the cashier took a lengthy phone call that didn't start ringing until after I was in line. Instead of placing the call on hold, the cashier took the call which had hit 5 minutes before I just left the store. They clearly don't want my money or future business. The store was empty and there were two employees working. They had enough staff to take care of a line and a phone call.
