I have been a customer of this Staples store since the store opened. Prior to tonight, all of my visits have been very pleasant. Tonight, however was very unpleasant. I had arranged to have a UPS package delivered to the store. When I approached the Copy desk, The clerk asked me a question and I explained that I had difficulty hearing and approached her desk to have her repeat her question. She told me I had to stand outside of their work area. After having the question repeated. I understook that I needed to check the cashier area to get my package. I also told the cashier that I was having difficulty hearing her questions, without increasing her volume, I was finally able to understand that she wanted to know the name of the sender. We were finally able to identify my package. I thanked her and departed. I am well educated and try to be respectful to everyone. I am definitely not accustomed to being treated like a moron.

Staples Overland Park KS Good supply or parking. Handicap parking and handicap accessible doors. Exterior looked good. The interior was well lit. Plenty of stock on the shelves. This location is also a drop off for Amazon returns. The staff: assistant manager and person at cashier were super friendly and helpful. I can only give this location a max of 4 stars because every shelf I checked was dirty and the carpet is dirty. The shelves is a simple fix , when you get new stock and you rotate the stock clean that area of the shelf. The carpet is a larger issue. I have done work with major chains through the years and while is cost a large amount to buy and lay the carpet the budget to clean the carpet many times is so low the store can not clean it. People want a clean location.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Diane at this location in the printing services. Had a print job and after returning hours later, she remembered me, my documents, and was able to help me within minutesnto correct my situation. Her quick help and kindness alleviated so much stress from my shoulders (the documents were important). I hope management/corporate see this as well as Diane. Thank you so much for your help!

I just walked out of this store disgusted. I went in to get some books spiral bound. As the only person in line at the print counter, and waiting more than 5 minutes for one of the two employees at the counter to acknowledge me, I asked if they did spiral bounding. Without even looking at me from whatever he was doing on the computer, he was very rude and acted like I was an inconvenience and should feel bad I interrupted him. This on top of the store being filthy! Place looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. Glad to know where NOT to go in the future.

Nayeli is so kind and incredible! My Amazon package was too large for the free return, but she nicely directed me to the self print station and told me how to get my return on the road! That said, the older gentleman that was working with Nayeli (3/31 at approx 2 pm) in the shipping center was super abrasive and immediately began lecturing me on Amazon’s policies as soon as I entered the store. Please try to be nicer to people, we’re all just trying our best :) That said, Nayeli rocks, I’d give her 5 stars
