Decent selection of office supplies and friendly staff who are usually helpful. I appreciate the range of products, but sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, making it hard to find what I'm looking for quickly. Overall, it's a solid place for basic office needs.

the staffing here is incredibly frustrating. they have 1 staff member doing amazon returns, register, balloons, etc during the day. there’s no reason i should be one of 3 customers waiting in line and my return taking 30 minutes. the lack of staffing has caused numerous errors, the latest being me dropping off my amazon package for return and they didn’t properly scan in my item resulting in me not being refunded by amazon.

Nice employees but they didn’t even have a single person at checkout with 2 waiting on Amazon return and 2 waiting to checkout what gives we should just walk out with our items. They don’t even carry anything in store any more they don’t have 11x17 binders or boxes of paper, they have like 2 options for yearly planners. A bunch of the shelves have blackouts on them so they have the space not the stock. They have little signs pushing people online, if I wanted online I’m going to Amazon with better selection and prices

The Staples in San Jose feels almost like a productivity hub. Self-service kiosks, efficient printing stations, and organized shelves make the experience quick and seamless. In a city driven by innovation, it’s interesting how a traditional office supply store adapts while remaining reliable.
