I am from out of town and I'm in Tucson to visit my sister. My sister is full time in a wheelchair so she does not drive. She wanted to buy an office chair for her desk. I drove her to Office Depot. We found the office chairs & sat in several. There was one she really liked and wanted to purchase but there was no one to spesk to. We had several questions, however, not one employee greeted us, spoke to us or asked if we needed help. After 30 minutes with no Customer Service we left the store without purchasing the chair which was very disappointing. I would not recommend this Office Depot. I drove to Office Max, when we walked into the store, we were greeted by a young woman who helped us the entire time. My sister bought the exact chair she had found at Office Depot. Also Office Max assembled the chair for us. This was wonderful Customer Service, which we greatly appreciated.

The team here couldn't be more helpful if they tried. Desperately needed some printing done on a Sunday and the self service was a godsend. Richard stood out and was very helpful and welcoming and demonstrated excellent customer experience. 5 stars for him. Store has loads of choice and good availability.

I absolutely hate writing negative reviews but this place along with the employees made me very compelled to do so. I came in yesterday to look at some desks to find one to potentially order and placed an order through the store. Before I did, I asked if they offered any furniture assembly services and the guy I was talking to said yes and gave me a piece of paper with the number to call to schedule it. However, after calling today to schedule an assembly date, I was told by them that they need a work order number to schedule anything and that Office Max was supposed to provide that for me. I call the store to get a work order number and the employee tells me that she can't do anything over the phone and it has to be in person even though she said all she needed was the order number which I had readily available. No reason as to why I couldn't do it over the phone, so now you waste my time and make me come back again for no reason. Also, you never mentioned any of this the day prior when I was already there and won’t even give me a straight answer when I ask why I can’t do all of this over the phone.

I went into this location today and had the worst experience I've every had at any Officemax locations. I went in looking for a couple ethetnet cords and was needing help. I ask CSR that I later learned his name as Jeff if he could help me locate eternet cable he pointed and said " they are other there some where In the middle" I walked over to where Jeff pointed walk 3 rows and could not locate. I asked him if he could help me locate them for a 2nd time and he walks past me and doesn't even look at me as I talking to him and walks 2 rows over and walks down the row and points with a real attitude there they are. This guy should not be working for your company. I dont know if its the color of skin or me in a 3 peace suit but I do know he didn't want to help me.

I purchased an office chair with assembly from 3413 E Broadway Blvd. I noticed there as only 1 left at this location, so when I received a messaged witin a few minutes that the chair was ready for pickup, I thought perhaps it was the store model. I didn't care. I just drove over to pick it up. When I arrived and showed my notification saying my order was ready for pick-up, a clerk told me that was "just a message that the system sends out". He told me he was "working on my chair between customers." I told him I drove down during my lunch to pick it up and asked how long. He told me about an hour. So, I waited and then went to check after about 40 minutes for an update, and was told by a manager that it was going to take longer than the hour they told me. I told him I was disappointed that their system had told me to come pick up the chair when it was not ready. He repeated what the other clerk had said, about the system sending it. He said that they normally call when it's ready. I asked him how I would know that without any communication from the store regarding their process. He acted like I had offended him. I never yelled or cursed. But I had a right to be disappointed and frustrated by the lack of communication and being sent a msg to pick the chair up. But then the manager said, "When did your notice come on your phone? Look at it. It was right after you ordered. Did you think your chair would be magically put together." That was an uncalled for rremark. It was placing the blame on me. That kind of service from a manager is unacceptable to any reasonable person spending money in a business. I told him that he was being condenscending, and he began to press on a little more, and even said, "Calm down, Ma'am" when I was not yelling or behaving out of control. It was bizarre and seemed to be designed to make me look like an irrational customer. I solved my own problem by telling him to cancel my order and refund my purchase. His job as a manager should not be to escalate a situation in which the store's system and their lack of communication cause the problem to begin with. He handled the refund without courtesy and walked away from the register without a word. It was disheartening to have to experience that as a new customer to their store. I can't give my money over to service like that. It's just not okay.
