⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I come to this Staples all the time, especially for bubble wrap and shipping supplies, and they never disappoint. This location is clean, well stocked, and easy to get in and out of, which matters when you’re running errands or managing a small business like I do. What really sets this store apart is the Staples Rewards program. It’s one of the most useful rewards programs out there. I earn points on regular purchases and can turn those rewards into real savings on everyday household items, office supplies, and shipping materials. The points actually add up and get used, which isn’t always the case with rewards programs. The staff at the Pinole location deserve special credit. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to answer questions, help find items, and never make you feel rushed. That kind of customer service makes a big difference and keeps me coming back. If you’re looking for quality shipping supplies, great prices, a rewards program that truly pays off, and a team that treats customers right, this Staples is absolutely worth visiting. Came in at 8am. Went to the printer services and asked a worker if the printers were working She was taping a banner and said we havent opened that section yet. My understanding is if a store is open then all the services should be available. Also dirty every time I come in. She came back at 806 and said you'll have to give me more time its just me and my manager right now. It was only myself and one other customer. She then comes back and says the manager for the printing center called out so no one would be available until 330 for a self service printer.....im just disappointed

Went for TSA Precheck with appointment. I was a bit late because of dentist appt nearby going longer than expected but didn’t seem to be anybody before me. I’m sorry I did get the name of the lady who assisted us, from front door by coincidence she was working atock and was first employee we saw and asked where the TSA precheck was. Friendly and welcoming from the start! Then we ran into an issue with the way the screening was proceeding asking for documents we didn’t have. I was perplexed because it didn’t seem to make sense. She also said it didn’t behave like this usually. So just so I knew what might be next I asked can we just see what it says if we try to continue? Then we did get stuck as “expected” but when she backed out of that form the screening appeared differently than it did before (originally it was asking for two documents, even though we provided a Liat A document that shouldn’t need the second document prompt). From there it went “smoothly”… well it did scan an O as a zero 0 from my passport and when trying to correct it wouldn’t accept the correction even using the OCR reason for the change. So actually we started all over again! By this time the next appointment person had arrived (actually we used up my whole slot +) but luckily they were the patient type. Anyway, suffice it to say I’ve rarely had this level of service, patient, friendly all wrapped in one. So then while there I also booked an appointment for wife (from my understanding, starting from clear website, I thought I could make one appointment for family) but that is not true. Each person needs separate TSA Precheck “id” which is associated with their info, entering the id is what starts the form off with that information so it has to match. Then my wife took so many retries to get her fingerprints to register and again so much patience and friendliness dealing with this next issue. Can’t say enough how good it felt to get through this at this location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I shop at this Staples in Pinole regularly and it’s honestly one of my go-to stores. I’m usually here picking up bubble wrap, packing supplies, and everyday household items, and they almost always have what I need in stock. One of my favorite things about shopping here is the Staples Rewards program. I earn points just buying things I already need, and I can use those rewards for household items and supplies instead of letting them go to waste. It actually feels worth it and saves me money over time. The people who work at this location make the experience even better. Everyone I’ve talked to has been friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful. If I have a question or need help finding something, they’re always willing to help without making it feel rushed. This Staples is clean, organized, and consistently reliable. If you shop here often or run a small business and need packing or office supplies, this location is definitely a solid choice.

I just had the worst first experience at this Staples, first my Amazon wasn’t processed correctly, it’s had been over 4 hours since I dropped it off and still no update on my return. When I got home, I called the store to get an update on the return process and the employee told me I have to drive back to the store because they might not have scanned my QR code correctly and would have to redo it, even though I received a confirmation document after the return was handed off to your staff. After I was told I would have to return to the store I asked to speak to the manager or get the corporate number because I wanted to file a complaint in regards to how my return had been mishandled, instead I got hung up on and when I called back no one answered the phone. In a time when consumers have many options to purchase office products I would think they would do everything within their capabilities to retain a customer but I guess not. I will never shop at any Staples again and you shouldn’t either, buy from Amazon, go to OfficeMax anywhere but here unless you want unprofessional customer service and a chance that the employee helping you does not know how to do their job.
