I am writing to express my disappointment with the Office Depot location in Emeryville due to repeated poor customer service experiences. During my last two visits, staff members appeared dismissive and often went out of sight rather than offering assistance, particularly with printing services. When I eventually received help to print only two pages, I was charged $7 just for assisting me Given the minimal task involved and the reluctant attitude of the staff, this fee felt excessive and unjustified. Additionally, when my wife visited this location, she was told she needed her own laptop to print a business tag. Despite this, staff attempted to charge her $20 simply for trying to assist her. This was especially frustrating, as we have received full-service assistance for the exact same task at other Office Depot locations without issue. The inconsistency in service, combined with the attempt to charge such a high fee for basic assistance, is unacceptable. Also, I never been charged in any other location for their services. Customers should not be discouraged from seeking help or charged excessive fees for minimal support, especially when other Office Depot locations provide the same services without these obstacles. We expect consistent, fair, and helpful service across all branches, and unfortunately, this location has not met that standard. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed to prevent similar experiences for future customers.

Unprofessional print job and no reaction to a mistake they made. One star for a different employee that helped me find something in the store with professionalism.

I go there at 7:20pm wanna me mailing envelope but they said you should come tomorrow nobody is there...even I saw 3 peoples standing without doing anything!!!

07/17/25 @ 1:30: I wanted to mail something. The guy at the checkout was just sitting, doing nothing. He told me I'd have to wait for someone on lunch break to come back. There were other employees working, not helping customers. How many stars would you give? Is two too much? Is it normal to have only one employee who can help someone with USPS services? IDK

This review is exclusively for Wayne. He works in Print Services. He is the guy to see for all your print needs. I am always happy to see him at the counter. I know my job will get done correctly and on time. He's very knowledgeable. And he's a hard worker. Wayne, you ROCK!
